A modern full-range supermarket with a large wine section, vegetable section and frozen goods as well as its own bakery, delicatessen and butcher. The Marstal post office is also housed in the building.

The small shop in Tranderup has a wide range of groceries and a large wine and spirits section with many specialities.

Fresh fish is available right at Søby harbour from Søby Fisk – just a few minutes from Dansk Cottage. Smoked fish can be found in Marstal and Ærøskøbing (see below).

Near Søby · grain, fruit & vegetables
The small farm shop sells old grain varieties grown without pesticides and artificial fertiliser, including purple hulless barley. You can grind the flour yourself at the farm's own mill. Seasonal fruit and vegetables are also available; recipes for bread and dishes are provided.
