The people behind Dansk Cottage
Dansk Cottage is not an anonymous holiday-home rental, but a very personal idea by Arndt & Jan Floto.
We share a long history with Denmark, sailing, good food and Scandinavian design. Ærø has been a special place for us for many years – with Dansk Cottage we would like to share that feeling with our guests.
Dansk Cottage is not meant to be an "off-the-shelf" holiday home. It is taking shape step by step from many personal ideas, journeys, encounters and our long-standing connection to Denmark, and to Ærø in particular.
On this website we accompany the whole journey: from the natural plot and the screw-pile foundation, through the construction of the house, to choosing the kitchen, furniture, lighting and garden design. And when everything is finished, we look forward to sharing this special holiday home with our guests.
