To enter Denmark with a dog you need an EU pet passport issued by a vet with a valid rabies vaccination, as well as a microchip implanted before the 8th week of life – the vaccination must have been given at least 3 weeks before entry. Does the dog cost extra?

One dog is included in the total price. A second dog is possible on prior request (€50 per week).

Where can dogs run free on Ærø?

From 1 October to 31 March dogs may run free on the beach under supervision. From 1 April to 30 September dogs must be on a lead on Danish beaches, and in forests all year round.
